PORTRAIT OF A LADY 4ft x 4ft Acrylic on canvas with palette knife
What better way to mark International Women’s Day this year with its theme “For ALL women and girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment” than to showcase some of Christopher Ankeli’s masterpieces celebrating womanhood?
Ìsàlẹ̀ Èkó in Watercolour was our first e-xhibition from Ankeli. This time around, he draws his inspiration from the fair sex: their moods, their travails, their journey. As usual, Ankeli observes people, capturing and communicating images adeptly through his brushes and palette knife the way he sees it.
This is our fifth art e-xhibition on Teambooktu; the second from Ankeli. Our previous feature, back in December, was on the novel work of Chinasa Uramah, an upcoming female artist who explores various themes of interest.
So, without further ado, let’s #accelerate action! On to Ankeli’s Portraiture of Womanhood!
So that you know, all paintings are AVAILABLE FOR SALE except for those marked with an asterix (*). Interested buyers can reach out via mail to info@teambooktu.com or Instagram @team_booktu with their offer(s).
