ÀÌKÚ: The Dead That Never Dies is Erivic Adedayo‘s newest project. Scheduled for a November 2026 release, the Afroblot themed comic book focuses heavily on institutional corruption, justice, friendship, love and several other themes.
ÀÌKÚ is a story about a young Nigerian university graduate doing everything possible to make ends meet and take care of the people dear to him but is caught up in a series of events that forces him to take up a new identity. Much of the story’s details are under wraps for now but here are some pages currently under production in the typical Afroblot style to whet your appetite for November.

Beyond just the story, ÀÌKÚ is also intended to be an exploration and celebration of certain realities among the Yoruba people of West Africa and the African people at large.

After ÀÌKÚ release, Erivic and his team have announced there’d be a first of its kind nationwide comicbook tour across specific states. This is intended to grow the comic book culture into a much bigger movement and this is also an attempt to take Erivic from being just a comic book artist into becoming a creative movement.
