neural pathways
From Inioluwa Tunde-Idowu, a longlister of Teambooktu's Poetry Challenge#1, comes cerebral words.

In the labyrinth of my mind, thoughts scramble,
A symphony of rambles, like a linguistic gamble.
Feels like a torrent, too vast to handle,
I embark well, only to drift and dabble.

Words unfurl, a poetic Scrabble play,
Echoes of youth on a leisurely day.
Within this mental terrain, mysteries entwine,
A circuit board chaos, a neural design.

Wires crisscross, akin to a latent land mine,
Thoughts ablaze, a fleeting, fiery sign.
Commence with purpose, then veer and sway,
As the wires in my circuit slowly fade away.

Inioluwa Tunde-Idowu

Inioluwa is from Lagos, Nigeria. She is a recent university graduate currently practicing cybersecurity. Oftentimes, you’ll find her poking around digital challenges or simply embracing her identity as a ‘papyrophiliac’ and bibliophile. Whether she is playing capture the flag challenges or indulging in her obsession with a perfect pen and a fresh notebook, each day brings a new set of adventures. Outside this, she enjoys watching the strategic game of football (Hala Madrid!). Inioluwa finds relaxation in the art of calligraphy and expressive writing where she weaves thoughts into aesthetically pleasing words.
