                Wellspring of the soul
Balm of hunger
Muse of angels
Chorus of thickets,
swell our wells of succour
that we never thirst.
Wellspring of the land
rooted in folklore
Throbs of ethereal drums
fertile of vision,
swell our dream-wells
that we may flourish.
Wellspring of the word
timbrel of minstrels
rhythm of verses
sermon of sighs,
tongue our mission
that poets may muse.
Wellspring of wisdom
tempo of rich tunes
flower of new goals,
wake dreams from slumber
that prophets may garner.
Wellspring of the loins
crane of ostrich hope
sprouting seeds of giants,
strengthen our race
to slave oppression.
Wellspring of our prayer
bouquet of timeless love
troops of divine war,
bless our resolve
to cross winding rivers.
Wellspring of our joy
Fountain of living waters
Sprinkler of blessings,
uncloud the stars
to wash us in moonlit trance.

Very beautiful poem. Wellspring… The very source, the very fountain itself, may we feed from the Source itself.
